Queensland Corrective Services (QCS) uses a phone interview, group assessment and fitness test, followed by the 10-week Custodial Officer Entry Program (COEP) which includes its own written and physical assessments, more training-embedded than a single named aptitude test.
A National Police Check and background vetting apply to all applicants regardless of state.
